2023 review…

Last year went by in whirlwind and a bit of a blur that trying to remember what has happened is hard, so this will be brief. Main highlights: teaching at the Maker Mill, including my own evening sessions named Pottery Club, a big show at Potfest Suffolk, doing my favourite show at Potfest in the Pens and Hepworth Wakefield Festive Market was lovely. The biggest thing to happen at the end of last year was spent in the mind boggling and quite frankly stressful time of finding a new studio. Navigating with agents/landlords/solicitors then finally signing a lease and having that reality check about how much this is going to cost. It is exciting but I’m so scared at the same time. Very much feeling the fear but doing it anyway.

2024

The first quarter of this year will be refitting the new studio, ordering new equipment for teaching, building lots of shelving (hello Ikea) and a ton of admin. It is going to be a busy one.
